Rose Numéro Deux

With all of your lovely comments, I have been bolstered in confidence and created another rose. Ta da!
And no, this is not a rose bush. It's a Loropetalum. My rose bush died.

Maybe if I make enough of these, I can glue them to the twigs that are left and fool my neighbors. :)
Perhaps I need to have a rose making party at my house! Wouldn't that be fun?

I've made your second go-round my background on myspace and have posted a bulletin giving you credit for the creation. People I haven't heard from in months stopped by to have a look and to comment on how gorgeous the rose is! Several wanted me to tell you how impressed they are. You should be very proud of yourself!

I love Martha and her mag, but I hardly ever go to her site. You have me wanting to check it out. The rose is so real you could just glue bunch on a bush and no one would know and since we haven't gotten much rain they'd probably weather just fine!

Oh such pretty rose photos! The bugs ate most of my roses this year, so I am enjoying everyone's photos instead!

Edaville Railroad closed for several years in the early 90's I believe, but within the past 6 years or so, it has a new owner and is open again! We take our kids there for the good old Christmas train ride! There are lots of amusement rides there now (it beats waiting 2 hours for the train ride), but all the animated elves are gone. =(
